Adding an OFTP2 Service

Odette File Transfer Protocol 2 (OFTP2) was originally designed for securely exchanging messages over the internet between automotive companies, particularly in Europe. Since then, OFTP2 has expanded to a wide range of industries. MFT Server provides support for both sending and receiving OFTP2 messages. Additionally, MFT Server has successfully passed interoperability testing with Odette.

Configuring an OFTP2 service, even for testing purposes, takes a bit more than just adding the OFTP2 service in the SERVICES > Listeners > Listeners grid. Learn more about what is required by accessing the ODETTE file transfer protocol (OFTP2) topics.

See the Request for Comments (RFC) 5024 for more details regarding OFTP2 technical specifications and standards.

Note: Protocol Listener Settings
When running in a JSCAPE SaaS environment, Port 3305, used for OFTP2, is not modifiable.
