General Product Questions
Ԛ What is the architecture of JSCAPE SaaS?
A JSCAPE SaaS utilizes a scalable architecture based on Java, Linux, MySQL and Kubernetes. It runs in an Amazon AWS data center.
Ԛ Is the JSCAPE SaaS instance native?
A JSCAPE SaaS is native to Redwood Software.
Ԛ Where is JSCAPE SaaS hosted? In which regions is this solution available?
A It is hosted on AWS in the U.S. West region for Americas deployments, and AWS Frankfurt for EMEA. Please note that users can still connect to cloud providers other than AWS, but JSCAPE will not manage those portions.
Ԛ With some SaaS products, having multiple clients can cause slowdowns or disruptions for other users. Is there any concern about that here?
A No, JSCAPE SaaS is designed for scalability. By segmenting every client in their own environment, there is significantly reduced risk of performance issues.
Ԛ How much data will a client be allowed to transfer each month?
A The plan includes up to 1TB. You can add additional TBs of data to your plan as needed, and overconsumption will be billed to your account.
Ԛ How much data will a client be able to store?
A The plan includes 1TB of storage per month. You can add an additional TB of monthly storage as needed, and overconsumption will be billed to your account.
Ԛ Are there any cloud storage limitations?
A JSCAPE SaaS customers can use local storage or AWS S3 buckets for data storage. To best use your data storage, we recommend customers use local storage for PGP encryption and temporary use only, utilizing S3 buckets for long-term data storage. JSCAPE can map cloud storage to appear as local storage, so follow this best practice to make the best use of your data plan without sacrificing ease of navigation.
