Running a search against log data

You may run a search against log data and narrow the results by applying a set of criteria. The criteria may include any combination of the following:

 

  • Date range

  • Application Instance ID

  • Session ID

  • Client IP

  • Client port

  • Server IP

  • Server port

  • Username

  • Client request

  • Client message

  • Server status

  • Server message

  • Inbound

  • Outbound

 

To run a search, go to AUDIT > Logging > Search and then give the search a descriptive name. Select one or more criteria, select each criterion's corresponding comparison operator (e.g. =, !=, >, contains, matches, etc.), and then enter a value for that criteria. When done, click the Search button.
